The Nightmare Before Christmas

Oh, the sound of rollin' dice
To me is music in the air
'Cause I'm a gamblin' Boogie Man
Although I don't play fair

It's much more fun, I must confess
When lives are on the line
Not mine, of course, but yours, old boy
Now that'd be just fine

Wow, it's like the guy who wrote this movie understood, way back in 1993, that casinos are the ultimate boogey man. (Hey, did you catch the slot machines equipped with guns?) The real nightmare is that legislators still don't get it, and want our state to partner up with the creepy gamblin' boogie man.

Coal in their stockings this year, Santa!

Santa wins, in the end, of course, and Christmas is saved, and eventually, our gambling nightmare will be over, too.

Best wishes, dearest friends and readers, for a healthy, happy, wonderful casino-free Christmas and slotless New Year.

Wow, Gladys!

How sad, but appropriate.

We're so fortunate that the number of smart Beacon Hill legislators who are willing to ask questions and expect answers is growing.

Enjoy a restful and well deserved holiday!

Yes, a big YES in agreement with "Middleboro Remembers" comments.
Because of USS and "still" concerned, dedicated, people ready & willing to help USS, they have proved again that staying strong on the course, and never giving up pushing the truth, aka the facts, to the legislators and the public does make a difference!!!

God bless all of you.
